I rode along with an award-winning Rockland County ambulance company to chronicle the lives of firefighters and EMTs.

I was early to the blogging game. I started The Listening Room at The Journal News to promote local bands and live music. We even had a studio, and a show on RNN! The design isn't pretty, but it sounded great. Trust me.
Who would pass up the chance to interview a rock icon? We got some backlash due to his controversial tattoos ... it's a good thing our critics likely never heard his lyrics.
As a journalist, I met so many interesting people. But some of my favorites were the ones who found peace in serving the community.
